Annabel is 14 months old!

Time has been flying so quickly! I just wanted to post some of the new things Annabel has been up to:

At this age, Annabel:

*RUNS!
*Says "No" appropriately!
*Shakes her head "Yes"
*Knows where to find her: belly, belly button, eyes, nose, ears, head, hair, feet, toes and hands
*Can say the sounds of these animals: doggy, cow, monkey, and makes a fish face
*says HI and BYE very loudly
*Can find things for you (keys, a sippy, etc.)

Annabel is such a happy smiley little girl who LOVES to swim and play! Every day is such a fantastic new adventure!

Annabel is a walker!

By June 10th, we officially declared Annabel a walker! She is all over the place and even climbing on the window seats.

Annabel:
*Knows where her ears and feet are
*Dances with one arm over her head whenever she hears ANY music
*Is about to start swim lessons
*Says, "Uh-oh!" Whenever she drops anything
*Responds to, "If you're happy and you know it..."

She is at such a fun age. We can't wait to see how much more fun the future brings! Love her!!!

Annabel is 1 year old!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it is finally time for Annabel's 1st birthday party! Where has the time gone? No one can prepare you for how quickly it goes by. What an absolutely amazing year it has been. I was looking at all of Annabel's past pictures and I just couldn't believe that this little peanut we brought home has turned into this beautiful little girl full of smiles and personality!

This month, Annabel:
*Signs for more
*Sings for please
*Smiles BIG all the time
*Goes crazy dancing to ANY and ALL music she hears, swaying her entire body!
*Understands when you are "chasing" her and laughs hysterically
*Takes more and more steps every day
*LOVES the dog
*LOVES being outside
*Eats all adult food with her fingers and LOVES broccoli and peas!
*Tried ice cream for the first time and LOVED it. Actually, she danced in her seat!

Annabel, you bring more joy to our hearts than we ever even imagined! You are absolutely beautiful inside and out and your smile lights up your whole face. It seems like there should be a word even stronger than love to describe how much you mean to us!!! We love you and cannot WAIT for many many many more years and birthdays to come!

Annabel is 11 months old!

It is so hard to believe that in just 1 short month, we will have a 1 YEAR OLD BABY GIRL!!! I guess she's really not a baby anymore. Where did the time go? Annabel has continued to grow into such a beautiful and fun little lady. This month Annabel:

*Says "Uh-oh!"
*Took her first steps although she isn't walking yet but she cruises along EVERY possible surface!
*Still LOVES music and "shakes her booty" all the time!
*Giggles hysterically!
*Loves checking out anything and everything that is new!
*Is really good at "so big"
*Signs for "more"
*Shakes her head no when she knows she is doing something naughty or when she doesn't want to do something
*Has a very mischievous grin when she is about to do something silly/naughty!
Annabel, you make us smile every single day. This past 11 months have truly been the most fulfilling time of our lives. You are so fun, so sweet, and so beautiful! We are SO excited to watch you learn and grow and can't wait for what is to come!

Easter!!!

This Easter, Andy and I just returned from Puerto Villarta and Annabel spent the week with Grandma and Grandpa!!! For Easter, she tried to model her pretty dress but she is just getting too wiggly! We also took Annabel to the park to swing for the very first time and she LOVED it!

Baby girl is 10 months old today!!!

Our sweet little Annabel is 10 months old today! Every month I think how can she possibly be more fun? And I am amazed that each month proves to be better than the rest!

This month Annabel:
*Shakes her head no, especially when you say, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!"
*Claps
*Claps anytime you say YAY!
*Shakes her booty when you sing, "Shake your booooty!"
*Dances when you sing or when she hears music
*Stops whatever she is doing when she hears music...especially on Glee
*Cruises all over the house with anything that can be used as a walker
*Waves hi by saying hiiiiiiiiiiiiii and holding her hand up straight...no wave...so cute!
*Babbles NON STOP!
*Says OH WOW!!!!
*Gets so excited and crawls right over to me when I walk into the room!
*Remembers where her toys are!

Annabel you are the light of our lives and we can't wait to see what is next! This year has just been so amazing and we love you so very much!!! Can't wait to see what new things you learn in the next month!

Great Grandpa is 100 years old today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Annabel is 9 months old today!!!

Our sweet little lady is 9 months old today!!!!

At 9 months Annabel:
*Has TWO teeth
*Is crawling all over the place
*Stands and cruises around the furniture
*Can sit down and stand back up
*Is REALLY close to walking
*Waves hi!
*When you say, "give me a kiss," she opens her mouth and licks your face!
*Claps
*Loves yelling and giggling
*Gives high-fives!
*Eats peas/rice/fruits with her fingers
*loves her sippy cup!
*Loves mirrors and stands up onto them
*Loves cell phones and computers
*Shakes her butt to music
*Stops and pauses and smiles whenever she hears any kind of music
*Chases after the dog
*Crawls to you and pulls up to standing at your feet
*Her newest word is "DADA!"

Annabel you are such a sweet and silly little lady! We love you so much and cannot believe how fast the time has gone! We look forward to so many adventures with you!!!

Eight months old today!!!

Every month, I think about how much more fun Annabel is than the one before and I can't imagine it getting better...and then it does!!!

This month Annabel:
*is ALL OVER THE PLACE! She crawls a little BUT
*MUCH prefers PULLING UP TO STANDING and cruising around the furniture than crawling!
*Giggles
*Smiles
*Understands funny faces or when you are being silly
*Loves peek-a-boo
*Is ticklish
*Has a HUGE smile for the camera
*Understands the sign language for "more"
*Babbles ALL THE TIME
*Sits and tries to stand in her crib when she's not crawling all over it
*She started solid foods at 5 months, but now she eats diced up bananas, peas, and carrots with her fingers!
*Tries to clap
*Loves music and painting!

Annabel you are just such a happy, healthy, vibrant and lovely baby! We love you so much and are SO excited to see what the rest of this first year brings!!!!!!!!!!!!

7 Months Going On 16...

At just 7 months, Annabel LOVES to stand! She can crawl in every direction but forward but she loves to hold on to the furniture and scoot around it! She is fascinated by EVERYTHING and wants to explore it all!

Annabel is 7 Months Old Today!!!

A great way to ring in the new year? Annabel is exactly 7 months old today!!!

Annabel has quite the little personality! She is full of smiles and laughs! This month she:

*Sits completely by herself
*Crawls every direction but forward...so close!
*Very close to getting a tooth!
*Can pick up anything and switch hands with it!
*The girl knows what she wants and will throw her head back and cry (mini-tantrum) if you take it away! Yipes!
*Eats 3 sold meals a day
*Is into EVERYTHING..watches and notices IT ALL!!!
*She LOVES music! She will stop what she is doing to listen and move her booty to the beat.
*Loves anything shiny, zippers, buttons, ribbons...can focus on these things forever it seems!
*Reaches for people and smiles at them always!
***Says "MAMA" and "BABA"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
